Consultant ENT, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester & Wessex Neurology Centre, University Hospital, Southampton, UK. He has undertaken advanced surgical fellowships in Nottingham and Wessex. Associate Professor Campbell works as a Rhinologist and Skull Base surgeon in Australia at Macquarie University Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, The Sydney Adventist Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, The Sydney Children’s Hospital and Chatswood Private Hospital. Dr Raewyn Campbell completed training and achieved fellowship of RACS in 2011. She has done 3 international fellowships in Rhinology and Skull Base surgery in Auckland, New Zealand and Philadelphia and Columbus, USA. She has published over 40 journal articles and book chapters and has presented at specialist conferences all over the world. She is actively involved in teaching medical students and otorhinolaryngology trainees and teaches at rhinology and skull base courses locally and internationally. 

Dr Carrau is a professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – H&N Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical center and also serves as the Director of the Comprehensive Skull Base Surgery Program.

Dr Carrau is a recognized world expert in skull base surgery and a pioneer in endoscopic skull base surgery. He has been instrumental in developing techniques, defining the indications, and solving many of the challenges presented by patients with pathologies in this complex area. Dr Carrau has developed a remarkable curriculum vitae (CV), having authored over 450 publications (300+ peer-reviewed). He has co-authored/co-edited the books Operative Otolaryngology, and Dissection Laboratory Manual for Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery.

Mr Carrie is a consultant Rhinologist and Pituitary Surgeon, Freeman Hospital and University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. His main interest is endonasal surgery and he is a member of both the anterior skull base and pituitary multidisciplinary services. He organises and chairs both the Newcastle Sinus Surgery course and the Newcastle Pituitary course.

He is President of the European Rhinological Society and Past President of the British Rhinological Society. He is QA lead for the Royal College Surgeons of England, Specialist Advisory Committee in Otolaryngology.  

He is a recipient of UK national research awards and publishes regularly on aspects of both rhinology and skull base surgery. He has written chapters in a number of ENT textbooks and is co-editor of the Rhinology section of the 8th edition of Scott- Brown’s Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr Paolo Castelnuovo is Professor, Chairman and Head of the Dept. of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Insubria, Varese, Italy. He has been a guest speaker and faculty member in several International congresses and meetings throughout the world, giving more than 500 official presentations and invited lectures. He has been invited as an operating surgeon in more than 50 National and International courses with live surgery. Philip G. Chen, MD, is a tenured Associate Professor in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas, San Antonio. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia where he trained under esteemed rhinologists Charles Gross, M.D., and Spencer Payne, M.D. Subsequently, he completed advanced endoscopic sinus and anterior skull base surgery fellowships under the direction of Professor Peter-John Wormald. 

Dr Chen is heavily involved in medical student and resident education and served as the Residency Program Director in his Department.  He has lectured internationally and authored multiple publications and book chapters.

Christos Georgalas  PhD, DLO, MRCS, FRCS(ORL-HNS)  graduated with Magna Cum Laude from the University of Athens  and trained in Otolaryngology in London (North Thames Rotation). He completed a rhinology/facial plastic  fellowship in Hopital Lariboisiere, Paris and Academic Medical Centre, Amsterdam, where he was appointed as faculty  from 2007 to 2015. During that time he created and directed (with dr van Furth, Neurosurgeon)  the first Endoscopic Skull Base Centre in Netherlands (ESA – Endoscopic Skull Base Centre, Amsterdam), a multi disciplinary Centre involving AMC, Vrij Universiteit Medical Center and National Cancer Institute, and. He has more than 120 peer reviewed publications with more than 5000 citations (Web of  Science ) and a H-factor of 27 (Scopus) . He is the editor of the textbook “Rhinology and Skull Base surgery” and “Approaches to the Frontal sinus” by Thieme as well as written chapters in a number of  international books. He has been an invited speaker and surgical tutor in international courses and workshops in more than 40 countries, and given more than 1000 lectures, both nationally and internationally.  He is the editor of International Consensus Statement: Spontaneous Cerebrospinal Fluid  Rhinorrhea and was one of the authors of EPOS (European Position Paper on Rhinosinusitis) and  the American Task Force of Rhinosinusitis Guidelines as well as the Anatomy and Terminology of Sinus surgery position paper. Dr Janakiram, is the Managing Director of Royal Pearl Hospital, Trichi. He has done his graduation & post-graduation from Madras Medical College and was awarded the Cherian Gold Medal for his Excellent ENT work, by the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. He has also been awarded the young INDIAN SCIENTIST 2008, by the Chief Justice of TN State. 

He has been pioneering various ENT Surgeries in this part of India for the past 11 years. He has trained more than 30 resident ENT surgeons, by offering them a one year fellowship course.

He is internationally acclaimed for his work in skull-base surgery. He has been a pioneer in the field of endoscopic management of juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma and has authored several chapters, articles, and books pertaining to skull-base surgery.

Cem Meco, MD, FEBORL-HNS is a Professor and Chairman in Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) in Ankara University, Turkey as well as a Faculty in Department of ORL-HNS in Salzburg Paracelsus Medical University, Austria. He is the President of the Confederation of European ORL-HNS (CEORL). Additionally, he serves as an Executive Committee Member and Group Leader of the Rhinology Section of the European Board Examination in ORL-HNS by UEMS. He serves as Advisory Board Member of European Rhinologic Society and Executive Board Member of Turkish Skull Base Society.

Mr Nair specialises in surgery for chronic sinusitis and rhinitis, tumours of the nose / sinuses and skull base, Lothrop frontal sinus surgical procedures and lacrimal surgery. He collaborates with the neurosurgeons and ophthalmologists on joint complex cases and regularly attends the multidisciplinary Head & Neck meetings at ACH.

Hesham runs a specialist combined medical/surgical Nose Clinic with Professor Stephen Durham at the Royal Brompton Hospital treating the largest number of patients in the UK with cystic fibrosis, sarcoidosis in addition to severe combined upper/lower airway conditions. Anshul Sama, FRCS, is a consultant and Honorary Professor at Loughborough University, UK. He completed clinical fellowship in Rhinology at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne, Australia. He practices exclusively in the field of Rhinology with a special interest in Frontal Sinus Surgery, Endoscopic Skull base surgery and Sleep disordered breathing. Dr Woodworth has been at UAB since 2008, specializing in the treatment of Sino nasal and skull base disorders. He completed a fellowship in rhinology at the world renowned Division of Rhinology at the University of Pennsylvania. Along with Dr Riley from the neurological surgery division, leads the only multi-disciplinary minimally invasive skull base program in Alabama and northern Florida. He is an NIH funded researcher investigating therapeutic interventions that enhance mucociliary clearance in both cystic fibrosis (where chronic rhinosinusitis is virtually universal) and non-cystic fibrosis chronic rhinosinusitis. He is also internationally recognized regarding his research on cerebrospinal fluid leak/skull base defect repair. He has published over 120 journal articles, 30 book chapters, and 2 Rhinology textbooks related to sinus and skull base disorders.

Mr Samuel Leong is the lead consultant of the highly successful Liverpool Rhinology Fellowship programme which is accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a member of the skull base multi-disciplinary team at the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre. He specializes in sinonasal and skull base tumours, but maintains an interest in complex airways disease, olfactory dysfunction and sinonasal vasculitis.  

He has contributed to book chapters and co-authored over 110 published articles indexed on PubMed. He currently collaborates with the University of Liverpool and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine on nasal mucosal immunity and the role of probiotics for treating sinusitis.

Dr Luiz Felipe de Alencastro is a member of the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery and a Head of Neurosurgery Department at Mãe de Deus Hospital (Porto Alegre, Brasil).
He has Skull Base Surgery fellowship at Keyo University 2007 (Tokyo, Japan) and in Neurosurgical Adavanced Techiniques at Tubbingen University (Tubbingen, Germany). He is Associate Fellow at University of Florida – Neuroanatomy Lab 2008 with Dr Albert Rothon (Gainesville, USA). He has a special interest in neuro-oncology and endoscope endonasal surgery.

Ms Louise Melia completed her training and fellowship in 2019 and is now a Rhinologist and Anterior Skull Base Consultant Surgeon in Glasgow, Scotland. She specialises in advanced open and endoscopic sinus surgery with a specialist interest in sinonasal malignancies. She has been instrumental in the development and expansion of the endoscopic skull base practice in Glasgow and regularly collaborates with neurosurgeons, OMFS and ophthalmologists on joint cases. She is a member of the skull base, pituitary and head and neck multidisciplinary services. Prof. Dr. Thibaut Van Zele (MD, PhD) is currently a professor at the Ear, Nose and Throat department at the Ghent University Hospital. In 2002, he finished his medical studies at the Ghent University. He trained in Belgium at the ENT-department at the Ghent University Hospital and in France at the Head and Neck Department of the CHRU Lille University Hospital. His clinical activities are focused on endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic rhinosinusitis, benign and malignant sinonasal tumours and endoscopic skull base surgery in collaboration with the department of neurosurgery. He also works in the Upper Airway Research Laboratory at the University of Ghent. His research interests now concentrate upon tissue engineering of upper airway mucosa, improvement of wound healing after endoscopic sinus surgery and the management of epistaxis. Dr Beale is Vice President (president elect) European Society of Head and Neck Radiology 2020-2023, Chairman Head and Neck Scientific subcommittee ECR 2020, President British Society of Head and Neck Imaging 2010-2012, Vice president British Society of Head and Neck Imaging 2008-2010, Secretary British Society of Head and Neck Imaging 2004-2008, European subcommittee Head and Neck Radiology (ECR) 2008-2011 and is Congress President ESHNR BSHNI BSDMFR 27-29 Sept 2018 London UK. He is also Special interest group Lead RCR for Head and Neck 2010-2012. He is RCR lead head and neck for ‘make better use of radiology’ (MBUR) 7th Edition. Dr Beale is also, Fellow of European Society of Head and Neck Radiologists and committee member 2013-present.

He has authored chapters on head and neck imaging in Grainger and Allison (2014 edition and current 7th edition), Head and neck ultrasonography (Plural publishing Orlof et al) 1st and 2nd edition and many more.

Dr Beale is Radiology advisor at European position paper on sinonasal anatomy 2014 and endoscopic management of tumours of the nose, paranasal sinuses and skull base 2010.

He has Published 50 peer- reviewed papers in diverse areas (head and neck imaging).
